Some email service providers may occasionally route messages from CEX.IO to spam/junk folders, which can cause missed communications related to transaction confirmations, support requests, password resets, etc. To avoid such situations and ensure you’re receiving CEX.IO emails, take a moment to whitelist our addresses. Below, we outline how to whitelist CEX.IO email addresses on popular providers.
The most common email addresses associated with our platform
We recommend whitelisting these email addresses in the Settings of your email service provider. The email address email@example.com will be used as an example in this article.
When you logged into your Gmail account, click the gear icon in the upper right corner. From there, select See all settings.
2. Choose Filters and Blocked Address from the tabs along the top and click Create a new filter.
3. In the From field, enter firstname.lastname@example.org and click Create filter.
4. Check the box next to Never send it to Spam and click Create filter.
Once you logged into your Outlook email, click the gear icon in the upper right corner. From there, select View all Outlook settings to expand your view.
Click Email and then Junk Email. You will see Safe sender and domains.
Select Add to add email@example.com to the list.
Finally, select Save to confirm whitelisting the email address.
Sign in to your ProtonMail account and select Settings in the upper right-hand corner.
Select the Filters tab and then choose Spam filters.
Click Add next to the Allow List and enter firstname.lastname@example.org.
Finally, choose Save. Emails sent from this address will always be delivered right to your inbox.
After logging into Yahoo mail, navigate to Settings in the top right corner and then click More Settings to expand your view.
Choose Filters and hit Add new filters.
Type a filter name, select From, and then contains from the dropdown menu.
Enter email@example.com and then choose a folder where you’d like to move emails from this address. For example, selecting Inbox would deliver emails to the most visible main folder.
Click Save and the email address will be whitelisted.
