Customers can deposit cryptocurrency to their CEX.IO accounts by following the steps below:
Go to the Wallet page and click Add funds in the upper corner. Then select the currency you wish to deposit under the account dashboard.
On the next page, click Select Payment method.
3. Choose Deposit address.
4. Copy the deposit address and paste it into the withdrawal field in your external crypto wallet.
Important:
We recommend only using personal wallets for these types of crypto transactions.
The same wallet cannot be used to deposit or withdraw different currencies.
For example, BCH cannot be credited to a BTC wallet, just as Ethereum-based tokens (e.g., USDT, MATIC, SHIB) can be lost when sent to a native ETH wallet.You’ll be prompted to select a network for transaction processing along with the deposit request. Make sure your external wallet address belongs to that particular blockchain.
Choosing a blockchain that is different from your external wallet network can result in extremely high transaction fees, and the potential loss of funds.
