1. First, go to the registration page:
Enter your email address;
Create a password;
Choose your country of residence and state from the drop-down menu;
Accept the CEX.IO Terms of Use and Privacy Policy;
Opt-in to keep informed about product updates from CEX.IO;
Click Create your account.
2. Confirm your email address
Open your inbox and click the link in the email we sent you. If the link doesn’t work, copy the code from the email and paste it in on the page as shown below.
If you haven’t received your confirmation email:
Check your junk and/or spam folder(s). Our emails may have been re-directed there instead of to your general inbox.
If the email has still not arrived, click Resend email.
To verify your email or try another address, click Change email.
3. Verify your identity
Since CEX.IO is a regulated cryptocurrency exchange, we are required to identify all market participants who access our services. Therefore, we kindly ask all users to complete a quick verification process in order to comply with AML/KYC policies.
Click Verify fast button and follow a few simple steps to start using CEX.IO services.
Step 1. Enter your phone number and date of birth.
Please use only a personal mobile phone number.
Important: VoIP and landline numbers do not permit us to send verification links, which is a critical piece of our KYC infrastructure. Therefore, only a mobile phone number will allow you to complete the process.
Please note that only users who are 18 years of age or older are allowed to become verified users.
Step 2. Follow the verification link in the SMS.
As an additional security measure, we ask you to confirm your mobile number via an SMS verification link. If you are having trouble with SMS delivery:
Double check the mobile phone number you submitted for accuracy. Click Resend SMS.
If you originally entered the wrong phone number, you can fix this by clicking Change your phone number.
If you’re still having trouble, you can verify yourself using an alternative method. To do so, click Try another method.
Step 3. Double check the information for correctness.
Once you click the verification link in the SMS, you will be redirected to the pre-fill page with your personal information (name, date of birth, etc.):
If any information is inaccurate, you can update it by clicking the Edit button.
Once all your information is correct, click Save and Submit to proceed.
Step 4. Confirm your information (or Edit and Confirm as described in the previous step).
Step 5. Congratulations! You are now ready to start your crypto journey with CEX.IO.
