CEX.IO offers a diverse and flexible range of withdrawal methods. We understand the importance of seamless asset movement, and that's why we provide multiple paths for both fiat and cryptocurrency withdrawals, ensuring convenient and efficient access to your funds.

Additionally, we support withdrawals via payment cards (VISA) and PayPal to cater to diverse preferences.

In this article, we’ll cover the many ways you can withdraw fiat funds from your CEX.IO account. Before we start, please note some important security rules:

  1. Withdrawal functionality is only available after successfully enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account.

  2. If you change or restore your 2FA method, withdrawals are restricted for the next 48 hours, to provide a buffer in the event of fraud.

Available Withdrawal Options

CEX.IO supports the following withdrawal methods:

  1. Payment Cards (VISA): Funds can be withdrawn directly to a VISA payment card.

  2. PayPal: An alternative withdrawal method for added convenience.

  3. Cryptocurrency Conversion: Convert fiat to crypto and transfer it to an external wallet if preferred.

Currently, CEX.IO supports USD, GBP, and EUR across its product ecosystem. To withdraw one of these fiat currencies from your CEX.IO account:

1. Sign in to your CEX.IO account, and click on the CEX.IO Wallet box on our homepage.

2. Find the currency you would like to withdraw. You can use the search bar and type the currency name or ticker.

3. Click the Withdraw button next to the chosen currency.

Alternatively, you can click the Withdraw button in the upper right of the Wallet page, and then choose the currency you wish to withdraw.

4. Next, click Select the destination to choose where to send your funds.

Note: The availability of payment methods depends on the currency, your location, and verification level.

Furthermore, please ensure your CEX.IO balance is at least 2 USD for most withdrawal methods.

5. Enter the sum you wish to withdraw. The total amount, together with the commission is indicated below, in the You will receive line.

6. The Proceed button will be active once you confirm that you have read and agree with the Risk Notice. Once you’ve confirmed your risk appetite, check the box and click on this button.

7. Verify your details, and initiate the transaction by clicking Confirm Withdrawal in the pop-up screen.

8. After that, you’ll be asked to confirm the withdrawal with a 2FA code.

Once you execute the above steps, you will instantly receive a confirmation email to the address registered with your CEX.IO account.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please review this guide.

When making withdrawals, pay attention to your daily and monthly limits. You can find your account limits on the Limits and Commissions page.

Troubleshooting Withdrawal Challenges

MasterCard Withdrawals

Currently, MasterCard withdrawals have limitations, and no specific resolution timeline is available. We recommend using VISA cards or other supported methods. For the latest updates, check the CEX.IO limits and commissions page.

Payment Card Requirements

Ensure your payment card is added to your CEX.IO account before initiating a withdrawal. Verify your card details beforehand to avoid disruptions.
