We’re thrilled to announce that Spot Trading trading will be soon available from your CEX.IO Wallet balance. This move aims to offer faster access to CEX.IO markets, and simplify the platform’s general trading experience.

As a result of this improvement, Spot Trading users will:

  • No longer need to perform internal transfers between CEX.IO Wallet and their Main Spot Trading account before, and after, executing orders.

  • See their CEX.IO Wallet balance on their Main Spot Trading account, and will be able to use these funds for trading right away.

The announced changes start on December 20 and may take a few days to fully implement. We'll email you again when everything is up and running.

UPD (December 21): All changes are completed, and customers may enjoy trading with their Wallet balance.

Spot Trading users don’t need to perform any additional actions to prepare for this update. But a couple of helpful notes:

  • If you have funds on your Main Spot Trading account, they will become available on your CEX.IO Wallet balance, after the update.

  • All outstanding orders, as well as sub-accounts on Spot Trading, will be unaffected.
