CEX.IO will support the conversion of SEI (Cosmos) to SEI (EVM). For more details, please refer to the official website.
How the migration works
The migration will be automatic for CEX.IO users holding SEI (Cosmos) in their wallets. No action is required on your part. Here is the timeline:
Pre-migration (March 30-April 1, 2026)
All transactions involving SEI (Cosmos) will be paused to ensure the integrity of the process.
CEX.IO Wallet: Deposits, withdrawals, Instant Buy, and Convert will be disabled.
Warning: SEI (Cosmos) wallet addresses will be deactivated. Any SEI (Cosmos) deposits initiated on or after March 30 are at risk of permanent loss.
Spot and Margin Trading: All active SEI (Cosmos) orders will be automatically canceled. Please close any pending trades before this date.
Migration (April 6-10, 2026)
During the migration period between April 6-10, all SEI (Cosmos) tokens will be automatically converted to SEI (EVM) at a 1:1 ratio.
Post-migration (April 10, 2026)
SEI (EVM) tokens will be credited to user accounts. Full services will resume, including:

Spot Trading
