CEX.IO will support the conversion of EOS (EOS) to Vaulta (A) as part of migration to the Vaulta network. For more details, please refer to the official website.
How will CEX.IO migrate EOS tokens
The migration will be automatic for CEX.IO users who own EOS on their wallets, requiring no action from the users. Here’s a brief overview of how it will be implemented:
Pre-migration (May 13, 2025)
All transactions involving EOS will be paused to secure the integrity of the process. The affected services:
CEX.IO Wallet (deposit, withdrawal, Instant Buy, Convert)
EOS wallet addresses associated with CEX.IO will be deactivated. Any EOS deposits initiated on or after May 13 risk permanent loss.
CEX.IO Spot Trading (EOS/USD, EOS/USDT, EOS/BTC markets)
All active EOS trade orders will be automatically cancelled. To avoid disruption, please close your pending EOS trades before this date.
CEX.IO Margin Trading (EOS/USDT, long only positions)
All open positions and pending orders with EOS will be automatically closed. Please close all your EOS positions before May 13.
Migration (May 15, 2025)
On May 15, all EOS tokens held in user wallets will be automatically converted to Vaulta (A) tokens at a 1:1 ratio.
Post-migration
The new Vaulta (A) tokens will be credited to the users' accounts on May 15. Full services for Vaulta (A) will be resumed, including:
Deposits and withdrawals
Instant Buy and Convert
Spot Trading
Margin Trading*
The migration process will be done with stringent security measures in place to protect your assets. The EOS’s team claimed that the tokenomics of the new Vaulta (A) tokens remain the same, ensuring that your holdings retain their value post-migration.
