During November 2024, the CEX.IO Affiliate/Referral Program will undergo an update to the user experience.
More specifically, the CEX.IO Affiliate/Referral Program will be transitioning to tracking new referral links from all affiliates, and stopping the tracking of old referral links.
When will this update take place?
The tentative date for the completion of this update is November 30, 2024, and may change. Should this happen, all affiliates and relevant parties will be notified in a timely manner.
Who will be affected by this change?
Existing CEX.IO Affiliate/Referral Program participants.
What should I do if I’m an affiliate partner?
Update your referral links everywhere they’re published.
How will CEX.IO track the referral activity?
Old referral links will continue to be tracked for some time. After November 30, 2024, only new referral links will be tracked.
How can I track the referral activity?
Same as before — go to the Referral Program menu in your profile, and observe your activity in real time.
What will happen to my referrals registered by the old link?
You’ll continue receiving the rewards for the referrals registered by the old referral link and see the stats on the new Referral Program page. Old statistics will be available at https://cex.io/affiliate-program.
Will new CEX.IO Affiliate/Referral Program partners be affected?
No, only existing Affiliate/Referral Program partners will be affected, all of whom will need to generate new referral links and update them wherever published.
