By participating in the 100% Fee Rebate on Fiat Deposit/Crypto Purchase for Returning Users Promotion (“Promotion”), you agree to these Official Rules, the CEX.IO Promotion and Reward Center Terms, and the CEX.IO Terms of Use, each of which forms a contract. Read them carefully before entering. This Promotion is a limited-time conditional promotional reward offer made to selected eligible users by direct invitation only. It is not a sweepstakes, lottery, contest, or game of chance, and no winner is selected by random drawing.
1. Sponsor
The sponsor of this Promotion is The sponsor of this Promotion is CEX.IO Corp. (to the extent it is identified as your contractual counterparty under the applicable Terms of Use, is referred to in these Official Rules as “CEX.IO” or “Sponsor”).
2. Period
The Promotion begins on 1 June 2026 at 00:00:00 UTC and ends on 1 June 2030 at 23:59:59 UTC (the “Period”).
CEX.IO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to extend, shorten, suspend, or otherwise modify the Period at any time, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Any such change shall not affect Rewards validly earned prior to the effective time of such change, unless otherwise permitted under these Official Rules, the Terms of Use, or applicable law.
3. Eligible Areas
Offered only where CEX.IO provides service and where permitted by applicable law, for eligible users who are legal residents of the United States. CEX.IO’s licenses and corresponding required disclosures can be found on the Licenses and Registrations page, which is incorporated here by reference. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. Eligibility
You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if, at the time of entry and during the Period, you:
have a valid, active, and fully verified CEX.IO Account;
must be a User in good standing, and be a legal resident of the United States.
have received a direct email from Sponsor specifically inviting you to participate in this Promotion;
shall otherwise comply with Terms of Use, Promotion and Reward Center Terms, and these Terms;
are not otherwise ineligible under applicable law.
CEX.IO may restrict or deny participation where required by law, regulatory requirements, fraud and AML controls, banking partner requirements, or risk policies, all as contemplated by the Terms of Use.
5. How to Participate
To participate in this Promotion and qualify for the Reward, you must complete the following steps during the Period:
This Promotion is strictly by invitation only. You are only eligible if you have submitted a request to close your CEX.IO account and subsequently received a direct email from CEX.IO specifically offering a 100% Fee Rebate. If you have not received this specific email, you are not eligible to participate.
After receipt of the invitation email, you must (a) choose to retain your CEX.IO account by not proceeding with account deletion, and (b) successfully complete via the CEX.IO App or CEX.IO website during the promotional Period either (i) a fiat deposit using an available fiat payment method, or (ii) a crypto purchase funded by fiat using an available fiat payment method, which results in a Qualifying transaction as defined in the invitation email and occurs within the promotional Period.
Qualifying transaction means a fiat deposit or a fiat-funded crypto purchase that (a) constitutes an “Authorised Transaction” or equivalent concept under the Terms of Use, (b) is successfully completed and credited/posted to the User’s Account in accordance with the Terms of Use and the applicable payment processing rules, and (c) is not, and has not been, in whole or in part, returned, reversed, rejected, disputed, cancelled, recalled, charged back, or otherwise undone or invalidated by any payment service provider, bank, network, card scheme, or other third party, in each case as determined in accordance with the Terms of Use.
The reward will be automatically credited and displayed upon claiming it in the Reward Center in the CEX.IO App.
6. Reward
Amount: For each Qualifying Transaction completed in accordance with these Official Rules, CEX.IO will credit 100% of the processing fees paid for that transaction to the eligible user’s balance in USDC, on a 1:1 USD-equivalent basis, subject to rounding to supported precision and as displayed in the Platform at the time of crediting. The maximum rebate amount per user is limited to 1,000 USDC.
No chance and allocation mechanics: No random drawing, random selection, or chance-based allocation is used. Qualification and allocation are determined exclusively by whether the eligible User satisfies all eligibility requirements and completes a Qualifying Transaction in accordance with these Official Rules during the Period.
Notification & Claim: Rewards will be made available to eligible Users for claim via the in-app Notification Center (or equivalent functionality on the Platform). Upon claim, CEX.IO will credit the applicable Reward to the user’s balance. Eligible Users will receive an in-app notification when a Reward is available to claim; no additional notice will be provided other than such in-app notification and the corresponding credit reflected in the User’s Account.
Frequency: Eligible Users may receive one Reward per invitation email and one Reward per Qualifying Transaction only. For the avoidance of doubt, a single invitation email may not be used to obtain multiple Rewards, and a single Qualifying Transaction may not give rise to more than one Reward. If a user subsequently submits a new account deletion request and receives a new invitation email from CEX.IO, such user may become eligible to participate again in respect of one new Qualifying Transaction under that new invitation.
7. Disqualification
CEX.IO may, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, disqualify any User, and withhold, reverse, cancel, or claw back any Reward (including by offsetting against balances in the User’s Account), where CEX.IO at its sole discretion determines that the User has engaged in any of the following (each a Prohibited Conduct):
1. Self-referral, sub-accounting, or multi-accounting, including creating or using multiple Accounts (or otherwise attempting to circumvent eligibility or Reward limits), whether directly or through third parties.
2. Unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, deceptive solicitation, or misleading communications in connection with the Promotion, including any referral activity that is unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with CEX.IO’s brand, compliance, or consumer-protection standards.
3. Submission of false, forged, altered, or otherwise counterfeit identification or verification materials, or any misrepresentation in connection with onboarding, verification, or participation.
4. Misuse, abuse, or bad-faith conduct, including any activity intended to improperly obtain a Reward, circumvent controls (incl. VPN circumvention), manipulate outcomes, or otherwise act contrary to the spirit and purpose of the Promotion.
5. Making false, misleading, or unsubstantiated statements about the Promotion, the Platform, the Services, or the Reward, including statements that misstate eligibility, likelihood of receiving a Reward, Reward availability after the cap is reached, or the nature of the Promotion as not involving chance.
For the avoidance of doubt, CEX.IO may take the above actions in addition to any other remedies available under the Terms of Use, Promotion and Reward Center Terms and applicable law, including suspension or termination of the Account and/or restriction of Services.
8. General Rules
Modification: Participation is conditioned on your ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Terms of Use, eligibility requirements that may apply to the Promotion. CEX.IO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, at any time and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, to cancel, suspend, terminate, or modify the Promotion (in whole or in part) if: (i) fraud, abuse, manipulation, or suspected misconduct occurs; (ii) any technical, security, or operational failure (including platform outages, systems errors, or third-party service disruptions) impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion; (iii) force majeure events occur; (iv) legal, regulatory, supervisory, sanctions, or policy changes render the Promotion illegal, impracticable, or inconsistent with CEX.IO’s policies; or (v) market disruption, abnormal volatility, liquidity constraints, or any other factors affect the Promotion’s intended operation.
Taxes: Users are solely responsible for any tax, duty, levy, reporting, or other governmental charges arising from participation in the Promotion or receipt/use of any Reward. Sponsor may require completion of tax forms (e.g., Form W-9) and may issue IRS Form 1099 or other tax reporting as required by law. Failure to timely provide required information may result in forfeiture.
Standard Terms: These Official Rules apply only to the specific Promotion mechanics described herein. All matters not expressly governed by these Official Rules are governed by, and incorporated by reference into these Official Rules: (i) Terms of Use, (ii) the Promotion and Reward Center Terms (each as amended from time to time, together, the “Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency, these Official Rules prevail solely in respect of the Promotion-specific subject matter they regulate; otherwise, the Terms remain controlling. Personal information will be processed in accordance with Privacy Policy.
Administration: CEX.IO’s determination of eligibility, qualification, timing, and Reward availability and/or calculations, issuance, withholding, forfeiture, or disqualification, are final and binding to the extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. No failure or delay by CEX.IO to enforce any right under these Official Rules constitutes a waiver of that right.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Promotion you agree to release and hold harmless CEX.IO, its group companies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective members, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your participation in, access to, or inability to participate in the Promotion; (b) the provision, receipt, non-receipt, acceptance, use, misuse, loss, or inability to use any Reward; (c) any technical, systems, network, platform, device, or third-party service issues (including outages, delays, transmission failures, or errors) affecting the Promotion; and/or (d) any act or omission by you or any third party in connection with the Promotion or any Reward. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if a Released Party has been advised of the possibility of such damages and regardless of whether any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, or for failure to deliver a Reward that has been validly earned and properly claimed, except where such failure results from a transaction reversal, legal or regulatory requirements, technical error, or the User’s breach of these Rules or the applicable Terms.
