The CEX.IO App extends access to our Convert service for on-the-go use, empowering users to perform anything-to-anything swaps, wherever they get a stable internet connection. Whether it’s a crypto-to-crypto, crypto-to-fiat, or fiat-to-fiat transaction, eligible participants have access to all exchange selections for supported assets with this service.
If a direct exchange pair is not available, an intermediary currency is used that can be traded against your input and output currencies on CEX.IO. As a result, instead of placing trading orders on different markets, you can simply use this service to save time.
To begin using Convert, top up your balance with a preferred payment method to get started.
To utilize the Convert service in the CEX.IO App:
Tap the Convert button on the home screen
Select the asset you wish to convert from the list of supported assets. For that, either scroll the list provided, or use the search field at the bottom to locate a preferred asset. For this guide, let’s choose the U.S. dollar.
The selected currency will be added to the From field. Now, tap the Select asset button, and choose a preferred currency for the swap. As an example, let’s choose Euro, creating a USD/EUR pair.
Enter the amount of base currency (USD in this case) you wish to swap for the quoted currency (i.e. Euro). This means you will sell USD to acquire EUR.
If necessary, you can change the currency order, and make a EUR/USD pair instead (1).
Once ready, tap the Proceed button (2), check the swap details, and confirm the transaction to convert funds.
The currency you've exchanged will appear in your CEX.IO balance in seconds.

The final amount you receive may vary from the estimated amount due to market fluctuations.
For transaction details and fees, refer to the Transaction History section in the CEX.IO App. Swaps conducted through the Convert service are categorized as market orders.
