The Kyber team has started a Kyber Network Crystal (KNC) token upgrade and migration. This update is supposed to make KNC more dynamic and flexible and optimize the support of more efficient upgrades.
The old token gets the name of KNC Legacy (KNCL) and the new token (v2) will keep the original ticker KNC. KNC remains an ERC-20 token.
CEX.IO will support the KNC token migration. If you hold KNC on CEX.IO, it will be automatically converted to the new KNC without any additional action required from you.
Conversion ratio: 1 KNCL token will equal 1 new KNC token.
Here’s how CEX.IO will handle the migration:
Deposit and withdrawals will be operational but please expect minor delays in transactions within an hour before and after the scheduled migration.
KNC trading will be unaffected during this time.
We will not support KNC Legacy deposits and trading after June 11 at 14:00 UTC.
All deposits of KNC Legacy after June 11 at 14:00 UTC will be lost.
If you prefer to have your KNC tokens not converted, you can withdraw them from CEX.IO before June 11 13:00 UTC
