We’re using a new format of LTC wallet to avoid mixing LTC and BTC addresses. However, some exchanges may not support it.

If you need to deposit some LTC from an exchange that does not support the new address format, we kindly ask you to use the converter at https://litecoin-project.github.io/p2sh-convert/. The service will convert our new address format to the old format. As soon as you get the address in the old format, you can use it to send LTC from other exchanges to CEX.IO without any issues.

HINT: You may also use your personal LTC wallet as an intermediary to avoid address conversion. However, note that you’ll have to pay a fee for each separate transaction then.
