By participating in the October Crypto Cashback Promotion ("Promotion"), you agree to these Official Rules, the CEX.IO Promotion and Reward Center Terms, and the CEX.IO Terms of Use, which each form a contract. Read them carefully before entering. This Promotion provides eligible Users with an opportunity to receive a randomized cryptocurrency Reward following completion of a Qualifying Transaction. Each Qualifying Transaction generates one Reward. The Digital Asset in which the Reward is provided and the amount of the Reward within the applicable Reward Tier are determined through the randomization mechanism described in Section 6. The applicable Reward Tier is determined by the value of the Qualifying Transaction in accordance with these Official Rules.
1. Sponsor
The sponsor of this Promotion is CEX OVRS LLC and is referred to in these Official Rules as “CEX.IO” or “Sponsor”.
2. Period
The Promotion begins on October 1, 2026, at 3:00:00 p.m. UTC and ends on October 14, 2026 at 23:59:59 UTC (the "Period").
3. Eligible Areas
Offered only where CEX.IO provides service and where permitted by applicable law, for eligible users who are legal residents of the countries served by CEX.IO, excluding residents of the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, the United States, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. CEX.IO’s licenses and corresponding required disclosures can be found on Terms of Use, which is incorporated here by reference. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. Eligibility
You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if, at the time of entry and during the Period, you:
have a valid, active, and fully verified CEX.IO Account;
are a User in good standing, are at least eighteen years of age at the time of participation, and are a legal resident of a jurisdiction where CEX.IO may lawfully make the Promotion and its Services available subject to section 3 of these Official Rules;
comply with the Terms of Use, the CEX.IO Promotion and Reward Center Terms, and these Rules; and
are not otherwise ineligible under applicable law.
CEX.IO may restrict or deny participation where required by law, regulatory requirements, fraud and AML controls, banking partner requirements, or risk policies, all as contemplated by the Terms of Use.
5. How to Participate
To participate in this Promotion and qualify for a Reward, a User must complete at least one Qualifying Transaction during the Period:
A "Qualifying Transaction" means a crypto purchase with a minimum value of USD 10 (or the equivalent in another supported fiat currency), funded using an available fiat payment method via the CEX.IO App or CEX.IO website during the promotional Period that: (a) constitutes an "Authorised Transaction" or equivalent concept under the Terms of Use; (b) is successfully completed and credited/posted to the User's Account in accordance with the Terms of Use and the applicable payment processing rules; and (c) is not, and has not been, in whole or in part, returned, reversed, rejected, disputed, cancelled, recalled, charged back, or otherwise undone or invalidated by any payment service provider, bank, network, card scheme, or other third party, in each case as determined in accordance with the Terms of Use.
Qualifying Transaction is limited to a crypto purchase completed through the CEX.IO Wallet (via the CEX.IO website or CEX.IO App). Transactions completed through CEX.IO's Convert or Trading features do not constitute Qualifying Transactions and are not eligible for a Reward under this Promotion, regardless of the transaction value.
Following each Qualifying Transaction, a Reward will be calculated and made available for claiming in the Reward Center in the CEX.IO App. Users will receive an in-app notification when a Reward is available.
Each Qualifying Transaction generates one Reward. Multiple Qualifying Transactions during the Period each generate a separate Reward, subject to these Official Rules.
6. Reward
Nature of Reward & Randomization. Each Reward consists of a randomized amount of cryptocurrency — either Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Pepe (PEPE), FLOKI, or Ethereum (ETH). Both the cryptocurrency type and the specific amount within the applicable tier range are determined solely by a randomization program operated by CEX.IO. CEX.IO does not predetermine the outcome for any individual User. All outcomes within each tier are possible but not equally probable, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
Reward Tiers. The applicable Reward Tier is determined by the USD value of the Qualifying Transaction. Each Reward Tier specifies the range within which the Reward may fall. The randomization mechanism will determine (i) the Reward value within the applicable range and (ii) the Digital Asset in which the Reward will be credited. The Reward will be calculated in the selected Digital Asset using the prevailing exchange rate displayed on the CEX.IO Platform at the time of Reward generation. For Qualifying Transactions of USD 10,000 or more, 1 ETH represents the maximum possible Reward and is not a guaranteed Reward. The actual Reward, including the Digital Asset and amount awarded, will be determined by the randomization program in accordance with these Official Rules.

Conversion & Valuation. Where a Qualifying Transaction is denominated in a currency other than USD, the USD-equivalent value shall be calculated using the prevailing exchange rate as displayed on the Platform at the time of the Qualifying Transaction, as determined by CEX.IO. Reward amounts in cryptocurrency are calculated based on prevailing market exchange rates at the time of Reward generation. CEX.IO is not responsible for any fluctuations in the price of the rewarded cryptocurrency between the time of the Qualifying Transaction, the time the Reward is generated, the time it is claimed, and the time of any subsequent withdrawal or disposal.
Distribution & Claim. Rewards are generated automatically following each Qualifying Transaction and, once processed, will be made available in the User's Reward Center for the User to claim. Eligible Users will receive an in-app notification when a Reward is available for claim. Users must manually claim the Reward via the Reward Center in the CEX.IO App for the cryptocurrency to be credited to their CEX.IO wallet. CEX.IO may delay, withhold, or deny crediting where required by applicable law, sanctions, fraud controls, or risk policies.
Nature of Reward — Post-Claim. Once claimed and credited to the User's wallet, the cryptocurrency Reward is fully withdrawable and transferable, subject to the Platform's standard security verification and withdrawal procedures. The Reward has no expiration date once claimed and reflected in the User's wallet balance. No promise of fiat value is made. The fiat value of the rewarded cryptocurrency may fluctuate, and the User bears all market-price risk from the time of Reward generation, claim, crediting, and any subsequent disposal or withdrawal.
Frequency & Stacking. Each Qualifying Transaction entitles the User to one Reward. There is no cap on the number of Qualifying Transactions a User may complete during the Period, and each generates a separate, independent Reward. Rewards are not cumulative or stackable in terms of tier calculation; each transaction is evaluated independently against the tier table above.
7. Disqualification
CEX.IO may, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, disqualify any User, and withhold, reverse, cancel, or claw back any Reward (including by offsetting against balances in the User's Account), where CEX.IO at its sole discretion determines that the User has engaged in any of the following, without limitation (each a "Prohibited Conduct"):
Sub-accounting, or multi-accounting, including creating or using multiple Accounts (or otherwise attempting to circumvent eligibility or Reward limits), whether directly or through third parties.
Unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, deceptive solicitation, or misleading communications in connection with the Promotion, including any referral activity that is unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with CEX.IO's brand, compliance, or consumer-protection standards.
Submission of false, forged, altered, or otherwise counterfeit identification or verification materials, or any misrepresentation in connection with onboarding, verification, or participation.
Misuse, abuse, or bad-faith conduct, including any activity intended to improperly obtain a Reward or a higher-tier Reward, circumvent controls (including VPN circumvention), manipulate transaction values, or otherwise act contrary to the spirit and purpose of the Promotion.
Initiating or attempting to initiate transactions that are likely to be returned or reversed, or engaging in behaviour indicative of reward abuse, refund/return arbitrage, or other activity inconsistent with the Terms of Use.
For the avoidance of doubt, CEX.IO may take the above actions in addition to any other remedies available under the Terms of Use, Promotion and Reward Center Terms and applicable law, including suspension or termination of the Account and/or restriction of Services.
8. General Rules
Modification: Participation is conditioned on your ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Terms of Use, and eligibility requirements that may apply to the Promotion. CEX.IO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, at any time and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, to cancel, suspend, terminate, or modify the Promotion (in whole or in part) if: (i) fraud, abuse, manipulation, or suspected misconduct occurs; (ii) any technical, security, or operational failure (including platform outages, systems errors, or third-party service disruptions) impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion; (iii) force majeure events occur; (iv) legal, regulatory, supervisory, sanctions, or policy changes render the Promotion illegal, impracticable, or inconsistent with CEX.IO's policies; or (v) market disruption, abnormal volatility, liquidity constraints, or any other factors affect the Promotion's intended operation.
Taxes: Users are solely responsible for any tax, duty, levy, reporting, or other governmental charges arising from participation in the Promotion or receipt/use of any Reward.
Standard Terms: These Official Rules apply only to the specific Promotion mechanics described herein. All matters not expressly governed by these Official Rules are governed by, and incorporated by reference into these Official Rules: (i) Terms of Use, (ii) the Promotion and Reward Center Terms, and (iii) where referral commissions are concerned, the Affiliate Program Terms (each as amended from time to time, together, the "Terms"). In the event of any inconsistency, these Official Rules prevail solely in respect of the Promotion-specific subject matter they regulate; otherwise, the Terms remain controlling. Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Administration: CEX.IO's determination of eligibility, qualification, timing, transaction valuation, randomization outcomes, and Reward availability and/or calculations, issuance, withholding, forfeiture, or disqualification are final and binding to the extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. No failure or delay by CEX.IO to enforce any right under these Official Rules constitutes a waiver of that right.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Promotion you agree to release and hold harmless CEX.IO, its group companies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective members, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your participation in, access to, or inability to participate in the Promotion; (b) the provision, receipt, non-receipt, acceptance, use, misuse, loss, or inability to use any Reward; (c) any technical, systems, network, platform, device, or third-party service issues (including outages, delays, transmission failures, or errors) affecting the Promotion or the randomization program; (d) the randomized nature of the Reward type and amount; and/or (e) any act or omission by you or any third party in connection with the Promotion or any Reward. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF A RELEASED PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ANY LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, or for failure to deliver a Reward that has been validly earned and properly claimed, except where such failure results from a transaction reversal, legal or regulatory requirements, technical error, or the User's breach of these Rules or the applicable Terms.
