Can I deposit if my payment card has other currency?

All international payment card transfers rely on automatic conversions in order to make  overseas payments successful. If a payment card is allowed to make an overseas transaction the funds are automatically converted to the required currency at bank rates.

You can use your any payment card in any local currency to deposit funds at CEX.IO. Thus, for example, you can deposit funds and buy BTC for SouthAfrican rand(ZAR). In a similar way you may buy BTC for Great Britain pound(GBP), Canadian Dollar(CAD), Australian Dollar(AUD), Brazilian Real(BRL), Moroccan Dirham(MAD), Swiss Franc(CHF), Indian Rupee(INR), Argentine Peso(ARS), Turkish Lira(TRY) or any other currency at CEX.IO .

    How long does it take to activate API and how do I know that it is already activated? Done confirming it in email but don't know if it is activated.

    Then can you explain why I am. seeing "Activate" button beside API? If it should work once it is generated this button shouldn't have any use at all???

    That's the activation button, in your previous message you have asked how long does it take. To clarify, the key should work immediately once it is activated.

    Hi Akhil G,

    I have issues with your withdrawal system here. I have tried withdrawing my balance twice but they are automatically rejected. I used the same payment card that I used to deposit for this withdrawal and at a slightly same amount to the deposit. Can you please assist me in my concern?

    I have checked the case and your bank in this case is rejecting the withdrawals. Probably they don't allow such transactions . Kindly contact them and they will be able to help.

    Please note that your system is automatically rejecting the withdrawals. I dont think my Bank has something to do with your system. Please fix this asap before I start a group complaint here with proper UK authorities.

    Each withdrawal requires communication with the bank and in return we are getting reject.

    Then can you please forward the communication made with my Bank? I doubt that my Bank is aware about this transaction. The communication you made with the Bank will surely help me raise issues, if there actually is.

    I dont see any Bank yet rejecting incoming deposits from everywhere. So please return back my money before I gather every people here facing the same issues as mine and file a complaint against you.

    Please consider that bank has some limitations and usually they may not allow p2p transactions. There is no need to threaten as it is in our own interest to maintain cashflow for users. CEX.IO is not holding your funds.

    Funny how this limitation is only applicable in withdrawals and not in deposits. Please also note that my intention is to get my funds back and not to threaten. If CEX.IO's interest is to maintain cash flow for users, then I would expect swift assistance and solution for my concern in withdrawals instead of a justification from help center on why my funds cannot be withdrawn. If you feel like being threatened then I guess there must be a reason for that to believe so. Now please return my funds in whatever ways you think plausible.

    How do I use a prepaid mastercard branded card?  My issue is that there is no name on the card, just account number and expiry date.

    You may use your card even without your name on it . The procedure for adding the card is same as for a usual card VISA or MasterCard.

    Hi, I done with everything about verification but my card has been declined. I called bank they said there is no problem about card and account, it might be about web site problem. Can you check why ı cant make payment to buy coin..

    The alert says "transaction not permitted to cardholder" So you may talk to the bank again and let them know the response we have sent. They should be able to help.
