By participating in the Fresh Start 2026 Referral Referral Promotion (“Promotion”), you agree to these Official Rules, the CEX.IO Promotion and Reward Center Terms, and the CEX.IO Terms of Use, which each form a contract. Read them carefully before entering. No element of chance is involved.
1. Sponsor
The sponsor of this Promotions is CEX OVRS LLC and is referred to in these Official Rules as “CEX.IO” or “Sponsor”.
2. Period
The Promotion begins on 26 January 2026 at 00:00:00, and ends on 31 January 2026, at 23:59 UTC (the “Period”).
3. Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Promotion if, at the time of entry and during the Period, you:
Shall have a valid, active, and fully verified CEX.IO Account.
must be a User in good standing, be a legal resident of a jurisdiction where CEX.IO may lawfully make the Promotion and its Services available. This Promotion is available only to legal residents of the following jurisdictions: Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia.
Referred Users. A Referred User must qualify as a New User, meaning a User who, as of the time of registration and participation in the Promotion, has never previously created, registered for, opened, held, or maintained a CEX.IO Account (including any Account that was closed, suspended, restricted, or otherwise terminated) and is not linked or attributable to any existing or prior account under the Terms of Use. CEX.IO may determine New User status using reasonable compliance and anti-fraud controls and may deny qualification and/or withhold the Reward where it reasonably suspects circumvention, duplicate or multiple accounts, misuse, or any breach of applicable law, sanctions/AML requirements, or the Terms. To be eligible the Referred User shall successfully open a new CEX.IO Account and and complete any required identity verification (KYC/AML) during the Period;
shall otherwise comply with Terms of Use and these Terms; and
are not otherwise ineligible under applicable law.
4. How to Participate
To qualify for the Reward, you must complete the following steps during the Period:
Generate Link: Log in to your CEX.IO account and copy your unique referral link from the Referral section (the “Referral Link”).
Referral: Share the Referral Link. Share the Referral Link with a prospective Referred User. The Referred User must register for a CEX.IO account using the Referral Link.
Qualifying Action: a Deposit of Funds to the Account in an amount of not less than $100 (or equivalent, as determined by CEX.IO), using Fiat currency via a supported payment channel available on the Platform at the time. The Qualifying Action must be completed and not reversed, cancelled, charged back, or otherwise invalidated.
5. Reward
Amount: For each qualifying referral completed in accordance with these Promotion Terms, CEX.IO will credit 10 USDC (or the equivalent value in another Digital Asset as determined by CEX.IO at its sole discretion) to both (i) the User whose Referral Link was used (the Referring User) and (ii) the newly registered User who completed the Qualifying Action (the Referred User).
Limit: Only one reward may be granted per Referred User Account. The aggregate promotion pool is capped at the first 500 qualifying participants, awarded strictly on a first-come, first-served basis as recorded in CEX.IO’s systems.
Bonus: The reward is granted in addition to any standard referral commission otherwise available to the Referring User under CEX.IO’s referral program, as governed by the Terms of Use and the applicable Affiliate Terms of Use, provided that all eligibility criteria are met and no breach of the Terms has occurred. Rewards will be made available to eligible Users for claim via the in-app Notification Center (or equivalent functionality on the Platform). Upon claim, CEX.IO will credit the applicable Reward to the User’s CEX.IO Wallet. Eligible Users will receive an in-app notification when a Reward is available to claim; no additional notice will be provided other than such in-app notification and the corresponding credit reflected in the User’s Account.
Rewards are not transferable and no cash alternative or substitutions are permitted.
6. Disqualification
CEX.IO may, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, disqualify any User, and withhold, reverse, cancel, or claw back any Reward (including by offsetting against balances in the User’s Account), where CEX.IO at its sole discretion determines that the User has engaged in any of the following (each a Prohibited Conduct):
Self-referral, sub-accounting, or multi-accounting, including creating or using multiple Accounts (or otherwise attempting to circumvent eligibility or Reward limits), whether directly or through third parties.
Unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, deceptive solicitation, or misleading communications in connection with the Promotion, including any referral activity that is unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with CEX.IO’s brand, compliance, or consumer-protection standards.
Submission of false, forged, altered, or otherwise counterfeit identification or verification materials, or any misrepresentation in connection with onboarding, verification, or participation.
Misuse, abuse, or bad-faith conduct, including any activity intended to improperly obtain a Reward, circumvent controls (incl. VPN circumvention), manipulate outcomes, or otherwise act contrary to the spirit and purpose of the Promotion.
For the avoidance of doubt, CEX.IO may take the above actions in addition to any other remedies available under the Terms of Use, Promotion and Reward Center Terms and applicable law, including suspension or termination of the Account and/or restriction of Services.
7. General Rules
Modification: Participation is conditioned on your ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Terms of Use, eligibility requirements that may apply to the Promotion. CEX.IO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, at any time and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, to cancel, suspend, terminate, or modify the Promotion (in whole or in part) if: (i) fraud, abuse, manipulation, or suspected misconduct occurs; (ii) any technical, security, or operational failure (including platform outages, systems errors, or third-party service disruptions) impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion; (iii) force majeure events occur; (iv) legal, regulatory, supervisory, sanctions, or policy changes render the Promotion illegal, impracticable, or inconsistent with CEX.IO’s policies; or (v) market disruption, abnormal volatility, liquidity constraints, or any other factors affect the Promotion’s intended operation.
Taxes: Users are solely responsible for any tax, duty, levy, reporting, or other governmental charges arising from participation in the Promotion or receipt/use of any Reward.
Standard Terms: These Official Rules apply only to the specific Promotion mechanics described herein. All matters not expressly governed by these Official Rules are governed by, and incorporated by reference into these Official Rules: (i) Terms of Use, (ii) the Promotion and Reward Center Terms, and (iii) where referral commissions are concerned, the Affiliate Program Terms (each as amended from time to time, together, the “Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency, these Official Rules prevail solely in respect of the Promotion-specific subject matter they regulate; otherwise, the Terms remain controlling.
Administration: CEX.IO’s determination of eligibility, qualification, timing, and Reward availability and/or calculations, issuance, withholding, forfeiture, or disqualification, are final and binding to the extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.. No failure or delay by CEX.IO to enforce any right under these Official Rules constitutes a waiver of that right.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Promotion you agree to release and hold harmless CEX.IO, its group companies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective members, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your participation in, access to, or inability to participate in the Promotion; (b) the provision, receipt, non-receipt, acceptance, use, misuse, loss, or inability to use any Reward; (c) any technical, systems, network, platform, device, or third-party service issues (including outages, delays, transmission failures, or errors) affecting the Promotion; and/or (d) any act or omission by you or any third party in connection with the Promotion or any Reward. This release shall not apply to any liability that cannot be excluded or limited as a matter of mandatory law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if a Released Party has been advised of the possibility of such damages and regardless of whether any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
